OUR CUSTOM WORK
Working with people to realize their vision is our passion. You can find some of our favorite projects below. We really enjoy getting to know you so that your piece isn’t just a functional piece of art, but is something that is personally meaningful and influenced by who you are. We hope to create something unique that is a celebration of your own individuality.
We start with what you’re interested in or what you need: is it furniture, a gift, a box, a piece of wall art? Then we try to get to know you a bit so that we can determine basic things like the topic of a piece (if it’s art), the style of the piece, and wood choices. From there we start the planning and drafting phase and this is where it gets fun! We’ll go through revisions until you’re happy with the design (unless you want a surprise!) and before we get materials and get to work.
Our work takes time. The conception and revision phases are fun, but the real work comes in the production of your custom piece. Everything we make is made by hand with extreme attention to detail. We want the end product to be exactly what you want, so we take our time with everything from wood selection all the way to finishing. As such, our pieces will take weeks to finish depending on the complexity.
Valentine’s Gift for Morgan
Our client wanted a meaningful gift for their cat-loving fiance. We went with a two-layered jewelry box featuring a custom cat top.
Shaker Style End Tables
Our client wanted a set of end tables that were traditional, but unique. We went with shaker style tables made from unique wood and paired with contrasting drawer fronts and pulls.
Blanket Box For Matt & Kelly
Our client wanted a wedding present for their brother. This box is made of solid Walnut with an Ambrosia Maple interlocked ring inlay. It depicts the Black Canyon at the Gunnison.
Matt & Rebecca’s Wedding
We helped Matt & Rebecca give their wedding party some truly unique and personal gifts.
Beartooth Box
The band Beartooth’s music is particularly meaningful for Travis. Recently, he was able to spend time with the band and created this box as a gift to commemorate the event and to thank the band for the positive impact they have on him and so many others.
